Close World of Tanks and the Wargaming Game Center first.
Some antivirus tools flag the installer. That is a false positive: Strelok is a protected build, and scanners react to the protection itself, not to anything the mod does.
How to install

Close World of Tanks
Quit the game client and the Wargaming Game Center. The installer replaces files inside the game folder, and a running client can lock them.

Run Strelok.exe
Double-click the file you just downloaded. Everything the mod needs is inside that one executable — there is no archive to extract and no manual copying.

Confirm your game folder
Check the World of Tanks path the installer offers before continuing. If the game is not on the default path, or you keep more than one region client, point it at the right folder.

Start a battle
Launch World of Tanks and drop into a battle. The overlays are drawn in Arcade and Sniper view immediately — there is nothing to switch on in the game settings.
What the download contains
TEN OVERLAYS · FOUR EXTRASIn-battle overlays
- Weak-point aimbot and auto-fire — the reticle reads armour, penetration, angle and dispersion, and fires at the optimal moment.
- Grey and purple enemy outlines — an X-ray view of spotted enemies through cover; your current target turns purple.
- SPG balloon and crushed-object marker — a bearing on the artillery that is shelling you, and a marker on objects just crushed.
- Enemy aim-warning laser — a line from an enemy gun to the point it is lining up on you.
- Artillery trajectories and stun — incoming arcs, splash radius and a crew-stun countdown.
- Reload indicator — reload state on any gun that recently fired, including autoloaders and twin-barrelled tanks.
- Full mini-map awareness — named contacts, last-known positions, view and draw-distance circles, and bearing lines.
- Situation awareness — a bearing ring around your hull marking every spotted enemy: grey behind cover, purple once it has a direct line to you, red when it is aiming at you.
- Blind-hit warning — immediate notice when your shot damages an unspotted enemy.
- Ally watching indicator — tells you when a knocked-out teammate is spectating your vehicle.

- Hide vegetation and grass — independently in Arcade and Sniper view.
- Automatic-gun overheat protection — auto-fire stops one shot short of overheating.
- Automatic fire extinguisher — the small extinguisher triggers the moment a fire starts.
- Telemetry and tracing protection — limits non-essential telemetry around your mods and gameplay.

System requirements
Strelok renders on top of a running battle, so the requirement is simply a modern gaming PC. If World of Tanks runs comfortably today, Strelok will too.
There is no separate launcher, no background service and no overlay injector to configure.

Which clients and servers are supported?
World of Tanks client 2.4.0 and newer, on the US, EU, ASIA and CN servers, in Random, Ranked and Training battles.
Does it work alongside other mods?
Yes. Strelok installs into the standard res_mods folder for your client version and leaves other mods and mod packs in place.
Is the installer safe to run?
The installer is virus free and is served only from res.wotstrelok.com. Download it from this page rather than from a re-upload, so the file you run is the one that was published.
What do I need to run it?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC with an Intel 10th generation processor or newer, 16 GB of RAM and an RTX 3060 or equivalent. HDR displays are fully supported.
Is there anything to configure afterwards?
No. The overlays appear as soon as you enter a battle, and options such as hiding vegetation separately in Arcade and Sniper view ship with sensible defaults.
